CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS


We can all agree that time is our most valuable asset. We ask that appointments be guaranteed against last-minute cancellations and no-shows by providing a major credit card at the time of booking. Online bookings and all groups of more than 2 guests require a 50% deposit. Canceling any appointment within 48 hours of your scheduled arrival will result in a charge equal to 50% of the services scheduled. Rescheduling an appointment within our 48-hour window will require a 50% deposit (additional 50% if the initial booking was completed on our website). We kindly ask that 72 hours' notice be given when canceling or rescheduling packages and group bookings of between 2 and 6 guests, and we require 2 weeks (14 days) notice when canceling groups of more than 6 to avoid charges. No-shows will be charged 100% of the services scheduled. If no card is present, these charges are associated with your Verbena Guest account and will be forwarded to your next scheduled appointment.

SERVICE REDOS

Please contact us within 48 hours of your initial appointment to secure a service correction at no cost when you schedule with the original provider.

ARRIVAL

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will allow you time to prepare for your service. Guests will check-in and fill out a questionnaire designed with their well-being in mind. If you are delayed in your arrival, your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed. Verbena Salon & Spa is not responsible for inclement weather, traffic delays, wrong directions, or inconvenient parking. Arriving late will limit the time of your treatment, potentially reducing its effectiveness and your pleasure.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations made in advance are highly recommended to ensure the widest selection of appointment times and services. All services are subject to availability. Walk-ins and same day reservation requests are always welcome. These requests are happily accommodated based on availability.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Guests under the age of 18 are welcome, but require a signed waiver and/or accompaniment of a parent or guardian.  Only those who are receiving a service are permitted in the spa and treatment rooms.

CHILD SAFETY

We do not have the facilities to care for and ensure the safety of children. For these reasons, we ask that you please refrain from bringing children to the spa or please ensure they are accompanied by a guardian at all times. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behavior that is perceived to be inappropriate or disruptive to our Spa atmosphere.

VALUABLES

Please refrain from bringing valuables as Verbena Salon & Spa is not responsible for any loss or damages to personal articles including clothing and accessories. Lockers are available for storage of personal belongings.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Verbena Salon & Spa’s standard policy is that appointments canceled with less than 48-hour notice incur a cancellation fee.  During the winter months however, we are willing to make an exception to that rule.  If Frederick County is under a winter weather advisory/warning and you believe that it would be unsafe or impossible for you to travel to your appointment, you may reschedule within the 48-hour window at no charge. Additionally, in the event of inclement weather, Verbena Salon & Spa reserves the right to close and cancel appointments for the day for the safety of both our guests and staff.

ATMOSPHERE

Relaxation starts the moment you walk through the door.  The spa strives to provide our guests with a relaxing environment where they can take a moment to escape. In order to preserve this tranquility, we ask that guests turn off all cell phones, electronic devices, as well as maintain a quiet level of conversation. As a courtesy to others, please refrain from bringing guests or children who are not receiving services into the spa.

TREATMENT AREAS

To ensure the safety and privacy of every guest, treatment rooms are accessible exclusively to those receiving spa services. This also allows the service provider the ability to deliver the utmost care and attention to their work. Recordings of any kind are strictly prohibited in all treatment rooms.

GIFT CARDS & CERTIFICATES

All Verbena Salon & Spa Gift Cards and Gift Certificates have a monetary value which may be redeemed for services or retail. As services and pricing are subject to change, Verbena Salon & Spa will honor the monetary value of the gift card or certificate. Cards and certificates expire five years from day of purchase and must be present at time of redemption. SERIES OF FIVE

Our “Series of Five” is a great way for guests to save on their favorite service! The series must be purchased in advance and can not be shared between multiple guests.  There is no penalty for inactivity and the series does not expire. A series is valued for the service pricing at time of purchase and will be honored regardless of pricing changes.

PRICES & GRATUITY

Our menu is constantly expanding to provide a wide range of services and treatments. Please ask about the latest version of the menu to ensure the most current information as prices and available services are subject to change. In appreciation of outstanding service, gratuities may be given at your discretion.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Verbena Salon & Spa Gift Cards, Verbena Salon & Spa Gift Certificates, and Verbena Salon & Spa Series of Five purchases are final sales. They may not be returned, refunded, or redeemed for cash. Gift Cards and Gift Certificates are redeemable for services and retail merchandise only and may not be used towards gratuities. Verbena Salon & Spa Gift Cards, Gift Certificates, and Series of Five expire five years from the purchase date. Verbena Salon & Spa Gift Cards and Certificates must be present at the time of redemption. Verbena Salon & Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards and certificates. For Verbena Salon & Spa balance inquiries, please call (240) 575-5333. Verbena Salon & Spa accepts returns for retail merchandise within 30 days. With proof of purchase, Guests may return unused and unopened retail products for a full refund. Opened and gently used retail products may be returned for in-store credit.

PAYMENT

Verbena Salon & Spa accepts Verbena Gift Cards and certificates, cash, all touch-less payments, and credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express). Verbena Salon & Spa does not accept personal checks. Gift cards and certificates must be presented at time of transaction.

PARKING

For our spa guests, we provide a sizable, well-maintained parking lot at the front of our building with Handicap priority parking. All guests may park in front of our building. PLEASE refrain from parking behind the building. The City of Frederick also offers metered parking on Market street for up to two hours.
